2J-Tennis Middle/HS Beginner-SMtenniscollective- TUES (A)

Designed specifically for middle and high school students who are new to tennis and want to learn the game in a relaxed, age-appropriate setting. Taught by the USTA award-winning Santa Monica Tennis Collective, players learn the fundamentals of tennis through engaging drills and games designed for their age group. Grab a friend or come on your own and meet others at a similar level.

Players will learn the basics of stroke production, including forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves, building a strong foundation that prepares them to progress to the next level of technique. When possible, players will be divided into middle school and high school groups to ensure appropriate pacing and peer interaction. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student.
