4A-Tennis Adult Beginner-SMtenniscollective-THURS

This class is designed for adult beginners with some prior tennis experience, approximately 3–6 months, who are looking to improve their technique in a structured, supportive environment. Taught by the USTA award-winning Santa Monica Tennis Collective, players build on their existing foundation through drills and games that reinforce proper mechanics and movement. Grab a friend or come on your own and meet others at a similar level. Players refine stroke production, including forehands, backhands, volleys, and overheads, while developing consistency and control. Sessions are designed to bridge the gap between basic fundamentals and live rallying through structured drills and game-based play. Prerequisite: Players should know the basic form of groundstrokes, volleys, and overheads, be beginning to rally consistently from the baseline, approximately a five-ball rally, and be ready to continue improving technique and consistency. REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
