No Camp July 3rd
The SMBA Indoor Mini Baller basketball camp is a half-day basketball camp tailored Ages 6-10 children who would like to learn the game of basketball! Our beginner program will focus on the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting and passing.
Plus activities to help with athleticism, speed and agility integrated in our program to help develop their motor skills!
The SMBA Mini Baller camp experience will emphasize fundamentals, developing proper techniques and understanding the basics of basketball
At the end of the week, our basketball goals are for players to develop mentally and athletically so that they have a better understanding of the rules and tools to play basketball.
Campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. Coaches are on hand to give training with beginners, intermediates and players with advanced qualities and motor skills!
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by SMBA staff during camp hours
- Lunch: Lunch available for delivery at noon by Subway!
- Snacks: Please bring snack for 10:25am
- Each Friday, Handel's Ice cream is available with purchase
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at our weekly camps will receive an official
SMBA Basketball Camps t-shirt. Prizes are awarded for games
Players are to wear sports attire: hat, joggers, shorts, tee shirt, bring water and sunscreen!
$15 cash material fee payable to instructor at camp.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by emailing community.classes@santamonica.gov Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.

Santa Monica Baseball Academy
Coach Hoffman is one of our top coaches at the Academy. He led our online hitting classes during the pandemic and is the current 11U Coach for the SMBA Dodgers! Recruited heavily out of high school for his hitting prowess, coach Hoffman is a scholarship athlete at San Francisco State University and is pursuing a career in pro baseball.
