Spanish for Adults: Advanced Conversational

This course is designed for students who wish to strengthen their fluency and conversational confidence in Spanish.

Through dialogues, readings, cultural discussions, games, and group activities, students continue expanding their grammar and vocabulary while developing more natural communication skills.

Students practice compound tenses and the subjunctive mood through conversation and real-life communication activities. Class time focuses heavily on discussion, interaction, and collaborative exercises.

Students are encouraged to speak primarily in Spanish, creating an immersive environment that helps improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

• Material Fee: $30 payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.

REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.

CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
