Description
The 60-minute session is designed for doubles-style game play to improve your doubles strategy; tennis strokes, consistency, and placement of the ball to get the opposition on defense. Players will learn to create opportunities through ball placement, improve court positioning, solidify good footwork and form into a FAST-PACED playing workout. In addition, Live Ball is a great way for players to develop fun, competitive tennis skills such as tactical use of lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys for net play- in a short time.
All students must bring one new can of balls and tennis racquet to class.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
