Description

MINNOW Level 3: Stroke Readiness: To enter this level, participants must be capable of independently floating and swimming 5 body lengths on front and back with arm and leg coordination. Instructors will mainly focus on front crawl with side breathing and elementary backstroke, dolphin kick and scissors kick. Skills introduced include diving in deep water and treading water.

In the event that only one student attends class, the class time will be reduced to 20 minutes.

PARKING

Parking fees during class times are included when participants register for a full multi-week session of classes. Parking passes will be available to preregistered participants at Guest Services on the first day of each session.

Cancellations and Refunds

A $15.00 processing fee for each activity refunded. Requests must be made in writing to the program supervisor, in person, or by e-mail at beach.house@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting.
