Description
The 60-minute session is designed to improve your tennis strokes, consistency, ball placement and cardio. Players will be instructed on the fundamentals of tennis strokes as well as positioning, footwork, and form. In addition. Live Ball is a great way for players to develop fun, competitive tennis skills and meet new players.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins, Nov 6th at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Nov 13 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
Material fess is 1 can of balls.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.

Instructor
Beach City Tennis Academy
Tennis Director / Instructor Michael Phillips is an Elite-USPTA professional and has been coaching tennis for over 20 years. Originally from Florida, where he played College Tennis, he later went on to coach multiple NCAA teams and USTA teams. After moving to New York, he spent more than a decade managing the tennis program at the New York Sport's Club in Brooklyn. Today, Michael lives in Los Angeles and continues to compete in Open Level Tournaments, Charity Exhibitions, and Pro-AMs. As the Director of Tennis at Beach City Tennis Academy, Michael manages all aspects of tennis programming for adults, juniors, and 10 and under players.
